Before graduating from George Brown College as a court reporter/stenographer in 1998, Alex took the opportunity to sit in on various court proceedings at the Superior Court of Justice and gained employment as a scopist proofreading and editing transcripts for a court reporter who saw her potential. Since then, she has worked in both official and freelance environments as a court reporter, captioner, and notetaker. For the past 10 years, her focus has primarily been on scoping transcripts for other court reporters here in Canada and in the United States. Alex became an Authorized Court Transcriptionist (ACT) in 2016. She recently joined the Videoplus team and looks forward to assisting you.
